Artificial Grass Prices – What Do They Include?
You’ve probably seen that artificial grass prices are higher than what you would pay for grass seed or sod. So, why bother buying synthetic grass?
You have to remember that artificial grass prices come with all sorts of “extras” that real grass prices don’t, like:
1. A yard that doesn’t need to be mowed
Unlike the real stuff, synthetic turf never grows, so you will never have to worry about mowing it. When you have a yard that doesn’t have to be mowed, you don’t have to worry about buying and maintaining a lawn mower – or paying someone to come cut your grass for you every few weeks. Your synthetic turf may cost a little more than sod or seed, but it will also save you tons of money down the road!
2. A yard that doesn’t need to be watered
How much do you pay to water your grass every month? Add up all of your water bills, and you’ll see just how expensive keeping that real grass green is! Luckily, though, synthetic grass doesn’t need water to look good. Unlike real grass that starts to look more like hay when it’s thirsty, fake turf grass can sit through the worst drought on record and still look green and plush.
3. A yard that’s never going to die
No matter what Mother Nature throws at your fake turf grass, it is never going to die. Once you pay the initial artificial grass prices, you never have to buy it again. Compare that to sod and seed – which aren’t too much cheaper, and you’ll need to buy them over and over. If you have to buy new sod and seed every few years, you’ve spent way more than you’d be paying one time in artificial grass prices.
4. A yard that cushions every step you take
Fake turf grass has come a long way over the years. Instead of being that hard, rug-like stuff you in sports stadiums decades ago, it’s now much softer. And, if you add infill into the mix, you’ll wind up with synthetic turf that literally cushions every step that you and your family take on it!
5. A yard that may be installed for you
In some cases, artificial grass prices will include the cost of a professional to deliver and install it. You will have to talk to your specific synthetic turf manufacturer to see if this is the case for you. Even if it’s not, paying someone to get your synthetic grass to your home and to lay it down for you is well worth the price!
